New Ranks Awarded at Denham Springs ATA Martial Arts

On Tuesday, August 5th, nearly 70 color belts received their new ranks.  Tripp Worthington was recognized with a special Perseverance Award for his work this test cycle.  Brett Bencaz was recognized as the Outstanding Karate for Kid Student for this test cycle.  Jude Gibson was recognized as the Outstanding Tiny Tiger Student for this test cycle.  Denham Springs ATA Martial Arts also awarded four individuals with the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt: Mr. Lexington Newell, Mr. Joshua Jaffar, Mr. Devin Bennett, and Ms. Ashlyn Causey all successfully passed their promotions and were awarded their Black Belt Rank.  Denham Springs ATA Martial Arts is also proud to announce our newest 3rd Degree Black Belts:  Ms. Jackie Calandro, Mr. Chance Ballard, Ms. Emily Raiford, and Mr. Jacob Thomas have each trained for over five years, met and exceeded the requirements put forth by Denham Springs ATA Martial Arts, and it was our honor to present them with their new ranks.  The ceremony ended with some special guests who came to award Master Jason Dendy with his new rank of 7th Degree Black Belt.  Master Jason Dendy tested in Little Rock, AR in front of some of the highest ranks in the ATA, and he successfully passed.  His wife, Mrs. Rachel Dendy (5th Degree Black Belt), accompanied by Master Gerald Daigle (6th Degree Black Belt), Mr. Andrew Beaujeaux (5th Degree Black Belt), Mr. Jude Grayson (5th Degree Black Belt), and VERY SPECIAL Guest, Chief Master Candidate Mark Sustaire (8th Degree Black Belt and Master Jason Dendy’s Senior Instructor) presented him his new belt.  Denham Springs ATA Martial Arts is proud of everyone who tested and we look forward to training everyone on their new material.
